Effective Date: September 26, 2026
Version: 2026.09
1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to SynapsisMedicalEdu.org (the “Website”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Student,” “Purchaser,” or “you”) and Floridian College Corp., doing business as Synapsis Medical Education (“SYNAPSIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Website and SYNAPSIS products and services, including, as applicable:
- student accounts and online dashboards;
- live and virtual classes;
- NCLEX examination-preparation programs;
- Nurse Practitioner examination-preparation programs;
- strategy, pharmacology, and other educational programs;
- videos, question banks, practice examinations, flashcards, slides, study materials, and educational resources;
- memberships and subscriptions;
- installment payment plans;
- educational support services; and
- other products or services offered by SYNAPSIS.
By accessing or using the Website or SYNAPSIS services, creating an account, completing a purchase, affirmatively accepting these Terms electronically, electronically signing an agreement, attending a class, or accessing educational content, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
Checkout Acceptance
For purchases requiring acceptance of these Terms, the purchaser may be required to open or access these Terms before the required acceptance control becomes available.
The purchaser must then affirmatively indicate acceptance by selecting the applicable acknowledgment checkbox or completing another electronic acceptance method presented during checkout.
A purchase requiring acceptance may not be completed unless the required acceptance has been provided.
SYNAPSIS may maintain an electronic record associated with the transaction documenting acceptance. Depending on the checkout system and applicable law, this record may include:
- purchaser name and email address;
- order or transaction number;
- date and time of acceptance;
- version of the Terms or policies presented;
- acknowledgment accepted by the purchaser; and
- reasonable transaction, security, device, browser, or network information used to document or protect the transaction.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not indicate acceptance, complete the applicable purchase, or use the applicable SYNAPSIS services.
2. Related Policies and Agreements
These Terms should be read together with the policies, disclosures, and agreements applicable to the particular product or service purchased or used.
Depending on the transaction or program, these may include:
- Privacy Policy;
- Refund and Cancellation Policy;
- Student Enrollment Agreement;
- Program Policies and Regulations;
- Copyright and Acceptable Use Policy;
- product descriptions and disclosures;
- checkout disclosures and acknowledgments;
- subscription or automatic-renewal terms;
- installment-payment terms;
- third-party financing terms; and
- additional written terms expressly accepted in connection with a particular product or service.
Program-specific terms displayed on a product page, checkout page, order confirmation, enrollment document, or separately signed agreement apply to the corresponding purchase.
Electronic Acceptance Records
When SYNAPSIS requires affirmative electronic acceptance of a policy or agreement, the acceptance may be associated with the applicable account, enrollment, order, or transaction.
SYNAPSIS may retain records reasonably necessary to document which terms were presented, the version in effect, date and time of acceptance, associated transaction, and electronic action used to indicate acceptance.
Where reasonably available, SYNAPSIS may preserve or reproduce the version of the applicable terms presented in connection with a transaction.
Order of Control
If directly conflicting provisions cannot reasonably be reconciled, the following order of control applies:
- rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived or modified;
- a separately negotiated and signed written agreement;
- the applicable Student Enrollment Agreement;
- these Terms and Conditions;
- transaction-specific checkout, subscription, financing, or product terms; and
- general advertising or promotional materials.
Nothing in this section limits any protection that applicable law does not permit a consumer to waive.
3. Business Information
SynapsisMedicalEdu.org is owned and operated by Floridian College Corp., doing business as Synapsis Medical Education.
SYNAPSIS provides private educational, examination-preparation, professional-development, and related support services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, SYNAPSIS is not a college, university, accredited nursing school, board of nursing, professional licensing authority, examination administrator, credentialing authority, or government agency.
SYNAPSIS educational programs do not award an academic degree or professional license and do not independently establish eligibility for licensure, certification, examination authorization, immigration status, or employment.
References to third-party examinations, organizations, trademarks, testing services, licensing authorities, or professional credentials are for identification and educational purposes and do not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement unless expressly stated in writing.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to independently create an account, enroll, or make a purchase.
A person younger than 18 may use SYNAPSIS services only when permitted by applicable law and through an account or enrollment established or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
By creating an account, enrolling, purchasing, or using SYNAPSIS services, you represent that:
- information you provide is accurate, current, and complete;
- you are authorized to use the payment method submitted;
- your use of the Website and services is lawful;
- you will use educational services only for their intended purpose; and
- you will not obtain access for unauthorized resale, redistribution, commercial instruction, or use by another person.
Participation in a SYNAPSIS program does not constitute confirmation that you satisfy eligibility requirements imposed by an examination, certification, licensing, credentialing, or governmental authority.
Students are responsible for independently verifying applicable eligibility requirements.
5. Account Registration, Identity, and Security
Account credentials and program access are personal and nontransferable.
You may not share, sell, lend, transfer, or otherwise provide another person with your username, password, course access, meeting credentials, or restricted access information.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, maintaining accurate contact information, and promptly notifying SYNAPSIS of suspected unauthorized access.
Identity and Access Verification
SYNAPSIS may use reasonable measures to verify identity and protect students, accounts, payments, classes, and educational content, including:
- account and email authentication;
- participant-name requirements;
- login and access records;
- device and session information;
- concurrent-session monitoring;
- meeting authentication;
- individualized digital watermarks;
- access restrictions; and
- other reasonable security or content-protection technologies.
SYNAPSIS may temporarily restrict or suspend access while reasonably investigating suspected credential sharing, unauthorized access, fraud, unauthorized copying or recording, payment disputes, or security violations.
6. Services and Program Availability
SYNAPSIS services may include:
- NCLEX preparation;
- Nurse Practitioner examination preparation;
- live virtual classes;
- examination strategies;
- pharmacology programs;
- recorded educational videos;
- question banks and practice examinations;
- flashcards, slides, study guides, and educational resources;
- memberships and subscriptions;
- professional educational resources; and
- application, credentialing, or licensing-process support when separately offered.
Specific features included in a purchase are identified in the applicable product description, checkout disclosures, enrollment agreement, or order confirmation.
Purchasing one SYNAPSIS product does not automatically provide access to every SYNAPSIS program or resource.
SYNAPSIS may make reasonable changes to class schedules, topic sequence, class duration, instructors, platforms, educational resources, or delivery methods.
A reasonable change does not constitute cancellation when SYNAPSIS continues to provide the purchased service or a substantially equivalent educational service.
7. Educational Purpose; No Guarantee
SYNAPSIS content and services are provided for educational and examination-preparation purposes.
SYNAPSIS does not guarantee:
- passing NCLEX, Nurse Practitioner certification, or another examination;
- examination eligibility;
- Authorization to Test or equivalent authorization;
- certification, licensure, endorsement, or renewal;
- credential acceptance;
- immigration or employment eligibility;
- employment placement;
- salary or career advancement; or
- any particular academic, examination, licensing, or professional outcome.
Results depend on factors outside SYNAPSIS’s control, including prior education, preparation, participation, study habits, language proficiency, examination performance, deadlines, and third-party eligibility requirements.
Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, SYNAPSIS is independent from examination administrators, credentialing organizations, certification organizations, boards of nursing, licensing authorities, and governmental agencies.
Clinical and healthcare information is educational and does not replace individualized medical advice, professional clinical judgment, institutional policies, authoritative drug information, or applicable standards of care.
8. Purchases, Pricing, and Checkout Disclosures
All prices are stated in United States dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Before completing a purchase, SYNAPSIS will display or provide access to material transaction terms, which may include price, payment frequency, access duration, taxes or fees, renewal information, installment terms, refund restrictions, and cancellation procedures.
Prices may change prospectively. Changes do not modify a completed purchase or existing contractual payment obligation unless agreed to or required by law.
Promotions, discounts, and coupons may have stated eligibility, timing, combination, and product restrictions and have no cash value.
SYNAPSIS may correct obvious technical or pricing errors. If an order is canceled because of such an error before services are provided, amounts collected for that canceled order will be returned through the appropriate payment channel.
9. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through SYNAPSIS or authorized third-party payment or financing providers, including, when available, Stripe, PayPal, Affirm, Zelle, or other authorized payment methods.
Availability may vary by product or transaction.
By submitting or authorizing payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method, the information supplied is accurate, and you authorize the disclosed transaction.
Third-party payment and financing providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Payments made outside the automated Website checkout, when expressly authorized by SYNAPSIS, may be documented through an invoice, enrollment agreement, payment confirmation, electronic acknowledgment, or other transaction record.
10. Reservation of Capacity; Final Sale and Refund Policy
Registration and payment may cause SYNAPSIS to accept an enrollment, reserve limited program capacity, perform administrative services, establish an account, and activate digital or educational resources.
Except as expressly provided by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, Student Enrollment Agreement, transaction-specific terms, or applicable nonwaivable law:
ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT ARE COMPLETED.
Unless otherwise required or expressly provided, a refund is not created solely because of:
- change of mind;
- nonattendance or partial attendance;
- voluntary withdrawal;
- personal, family, employment, or travel conflicts;
- examination postponement or rescheduling;
- failure to use available resources;
- failure to complete a program;
- failure to satisfy examination, certification, credentialing, or licensing requirements;
- failure to obtain a desired outcome;
- technical problems with the Student’s own device, network, software, or internet connection; or
- dissatisfaction that does not result from SYNAPSIS’s material failure to provide the purchased service.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates consumer rights that applicable law does not permit a purchaser to waive.
11. Credits and Rescheduling
A program or class credit is not a cash refund.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, credits have no cash value, are nontransferable, may not be sold or shared, apply only to the designated service, are subject to availability, and may have an expiration date.
SYNAPSIS may consider a credit, rescheduling opportunity, or reasonable accommodation for exceptional circumstances.
Requests should be submitted to info@synapsismedicaledu.org as soon as reasonably possible.
Granting a discretionary accommodation on one occasion does not require SYNAPSIS to grant the same accommodation in another case.
12. Cancellation or Material Change by SYNAPSIS
If SYNAPSIS cancels a class or materially changes a service, it may provide a replacement date, substantially equivalent class or service, program credit, or other reasonable educational alternative.
If SYNAPSIS permanently cancels a paid program and does not provide the purchased service or substantially equivalent replacement within a reasonable period, the Student will receive an appropriate refund for the paid portion not provided, subject to applicable law.
Temporary interruptions, reasonable schedule adjustments, instructor substitutions, platform outages, emergencies, or circumstances outside SYNAPSIS’s reasonable control do not automatically constitute permanent cancellation when access is restored or a reasonable alternative is provided.
13. Memberships and Automatically Renewing Subscriptions
Certain memberships or subscriptions automatically renew at the billing interval disclosed during purchase.
Before enrollment, SYNAPSIS will disclose applicable material renewal terms, including amount, frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and when cancellation becomes effective.
By affirmatively accepting and purchasing an automatically renewing service, you authorize the applicable recurring charges until cancellation.
Future recurring charges may be canceled through an available account/subscription dashboard or by written request to info@synapsismedicaledu.org.
Unless otherwise disclosed or required by law, cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period and access ordinarily continues through that period.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. It does not by itself reverse or refund a charge validly processed for an access period already activated.
Students should retain their cancellation confirmation.
14. Installment Payment Plans
An installment payment plan is different from an automatically renewing subscription.
An installment plan divides an agreed purchase price or contractual program balance into scheduled payments and does not convert the purchase into a month-to-month subscription unless expressly stated otherwise.
Discontinuing attendance, ceasing use, or requesting termination of access does not by itself cancel the remaining contractual payment obligation.
The Student remains responsible for scheduled installments unless SYNAPSIS agrees otherwise in writing, the applicable agreement provides otherwise, or applicable law requires otherwise.
Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or termination of access or other lawful collection activity.
15. Affirm Financing
Affirm may be offered for eligible purchases. Affirm is an independent third-party financing provider and is not owned or controlled by SYNAPSIS.
Affirm independently determines eligibility, verification requirements, financing approval, down payments, APR or interest when applicable, repayment terms, and payment amounts.
SYNAPSIS cannot guarantee approval or modify Affirm’s financing decision.
The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the financing disclosures and agreement presented by Affirm.
Using Affirm does not independently change SYNAPSIS’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
If SYNAPSIS approves a refund, it will submit the approved amount through the applicable transaction channel. Affirm determines how that refund affects the financing account.
The purchaser must continue following Affirm’s payment instructions until Affirm confirms any adjustment.
A SYNAPSIS credit, rescheduling accommodation, or other non-cash accommodation does not by itself modify, suspend, or cancel an Affirm financing agreement.
16. Intellectual Property Ownership
The Website and SYNAPSIS original educational materials are owned by or licensed to SYNAPSIS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Protected materials may include:
- videos and recordings;
- question banks;
- examination-style questions and rationales;
- slides and presentations;
- handouts and study guides;
- graphics and illustrations;
- flashcards;
- written explanations;
- course organization;
- branding and Website design; and
- instructor voice, demonstrations, and original teaching materials.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of SYNAPSIS content to the User.
17. Limited Personal Educational License
Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, SYNAPSIS grants the Student a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, and nontransferable license to access authorized content solely for personal, noncommercial study during the applicable access period.
SYNAPSIS content may not be used to teach, train, tutor, operate another educational program, or provide commercial services without prior written authorization.
The license ends when access expires, the account is terminated, required payment is not completed, or the User materially violates these Terms.
18. Prohibited Use and Protection of Educational Content
Unless expressly authorized in writing, Users may not:
- photograph or screenshot protected materials;
- make audio, video, or screen recordings;
- copy or reproduce questions, answers, rationales, slides, videos, or other protected materials;
- download materials unless download functionality is expressly enabled;
- share account credentials;
- post SYNAPSIS content on social media or messaging platforms;
- upload materials to shared drives, websites, repositories, question banks, or third-party platforms;
- upload protected SYNAPSIS content to artificial-intelligence systems or use it to train, develop, evaluate, or improve an artificial-intelligence model or service;
- translate, modify, adapt, or create unauthorized derivative materials;
- scrape, extract, systematically collect, or automate retrieval of Website content;
- sell, license, redistribute, or publicly display materials;
- remove or obscure copyright notices, identifiers, or watermarks;
- circumvent access controls or content-protection technologies; or
- use SYNAPSIS content to develop or materially support a competing educational product or service.
Unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination and may expose the responsible person to remedies available under applicable law.
19. Live Classes, Recording, Watermarks, and Content Protection
Students may not photograph, screenshot, audio-record, video-record, screen-record, rebroadcast, reproduce, or distribute live classes, instructors, participants, slides, discussions, or other protected content without prior written authorization.
Students may be required to enter virtual classes using the name and authenticated account or email address associated with their enrollment.
SYNAPSIS may use reasonable content-protection and security technologies, including:
- participant authentication;
- individualized visible or digital watermarks;
- account or participant identifiers;
- access logs;
- screen-capture prevention or deterrence technologies;
- recording restrictions; and
- other reasonable measures intended to protect educational content.
A watermark or identifier displayed to an authenticated participant may contain information associated with that participant’s account, such as an email address or other account identifier.
Users may not remove, obscure, alter, circumvent, or intentionally defeat a watermark or content-protection measure.
SYNAPSIS does not represent that technological protections can prevent every unauthorized photograph, recording, screenshot, or reproduction.
If SYNAPSIS records a live session, participants will receive notice and any consent required by applicable law will be obtained.
Promotional use of an identifiable Student’s name, image, voice, or testimonial requires separate authorization and is not a condition of purchasing SYNAPSIS services.
20. User Conduct
Users may not:
- disrupt classes or Website functionality;
- harass, threaten, or abuse students, instructors, or staff;
- impersonate another person;
- provide fraudulent account or payment information;
- obtain unauthorized system or account access;
- introduce malware or harmful code;
- circumvent security or access controls;
- engage in fraud or payment abuse;
- publish another person’s private information;
- violate intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
- use SYNAPSIS services for unlawful purposes.
SYNAPSIS may remove disruptive participants or suspend or terminate accounts for material or repeated violations.
21. Third-Party Services and Links
SYNAPSIS may use or link to third-party platforms and services, including learning-management systems, videoconferencing services, payment processors, financing providers, testing organizations, licensing authorities, and other technology providers.
SYNAPSIS does not control third-party websites, policies, outages, eligibility decisions, or content.
Use of third-party services may be subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
22. Technology Requirements
Students are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, reliable internet connection, current browser and required software, working audio/video when required, and reasonable security for their devices and accounts.
SYNAPSIS does not guarantee compatibility with every device, browser, network, operating system, external display configuration, or third-party application.
When a technical problem is within SYNAPSIS’s reasonable control, SYNAPSIS will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative.
23. Privacy and Communications
Collection and use of personal information are governed by the SYNAPSIS Privacy Policy.
By providing contact information, Users may receive necessary transactional communications regarding accounts, purchases, payments, renewals, classes, security, access, and policy changes.
Marketing communications may be discontinued through the unsubscribe method provided.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional or account-related communications.
24. Electronic Records and Signatures
You consent to conduct applicable transactions electronically.
A checked acceptance box, typed name, electronic signature, payment authorization, or other electronic action made with intent to accept may constitute an electronic signature to the extent recognized by applicable law.
Electronic records may be retained to document transactions and acceptance.
SYNAPSIS may maintain records such as:
- date and time;
- order or enrollment number;
- account/email information;
- accepted Terms or policy version;
- electronic acknowledgment;
- transaction records; and
- reasonable security or technical information associated with acceptance.
Users are encouraged to retain copies of agreements, checkout disclosures, receipts, and confirmations.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.
SYNAPSIS does not warrant that access will always be uninterrupted, every error will be corrected immediately, third-party services will remain available, every device will be compatible, or educational content will produce a particular result.
Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or consumer protection that applicable law does not permit SYNAPSIS to exclude.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SYNAPSIS and its officers, instructors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the Website or services, including loss of opportunity, data, income, or profits.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SYNAPSIS’s aggregate liability arising from a particular purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid to SYNAPSIS for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits limitation, including as applicable to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or legally actionable personal injury.
27. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify SYNAPSIS against third-party claims, losses, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, unauthorized copying or distribution of protected content, violation of another person’s rights, fraudulent activity conducted through your account, or material breach of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to claims caused by SYNAPSIS’s own unlawful conduct.
28. Account Suspension and Termination
SYNAPSIS may suspend or terminate access for reasons including:
- nonpayment;
- credential or account sharing;
- unauthorized copying, recording, or distribution;
- attempts to circumvent content protections;
- fraud or payment abuse;
- harassment or disruptive conduct;
- security threats;
- unlawful activity; or
- other material or repeated violations.
When circumstances reasonably permit, SYNAPSIS may provide notice or an opportunity to correct a violation.
Immediate action may be taken when reasonably necessary to protect students, staff, systems, payments, or intellectual property.
Termination resulting from a User’s material violation does not independently create a refund right.
29. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
If you believe a charge is unauthorized, duplicated, or incorrect, contact info@synapsismedicaledu.org promptly so SYNAPSIS can investigate.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or erroneous charge with your financial institution.
Users agree not to knowingly submit false or materially misleading information in connection with a payment dispute or chargeback.
When responding to a billing dispute or chargeback, SYNAPSIS may provide the payment processor, financing provider, financial institution, or other authorized dispute administrator with records reasonably relevant to the transaction, including:
- order and payment information;
- Terms and policies presented and accepted;
- electronic acceptance records;
- enrollment agreements;
- transaction confirmations;
- login and access records;
- attendance records;
- cancellation communications;
- relevant customer communications; and
- records showing delivery or availability of purchased digital or live services.
Such information will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the SYNAPSIS Privacy Policy.
30. Changes to These Terms
SYNAPSIS may update these Terms prospectively to reflect changes in services, technology, business operations, or applicable law.
Updated Terms will display a revised effective date or version.
Material changes affecting active memberships or existing obligations may be communicated through email, account notice, checkout, or another reasonable method.
Changes will not retroactively alter material financial terms of a completed purchase without agreement unless permitted or required by applicable law.
Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance for future use and transactions to the extent permitted by law. Where affirmative acceptance is required, SYNAPSIS may require a new acknowledgment.
31. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, each party agrees to provide written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt at informal resolution, unless immediate injunctive relief is reasonably necessary, a filing deadline requires earlier action, or applicable law provides otherwise.
Any court proceeding must be brought in a court having lawful jurisdiction in Hillsborough County, Florida, unless applicable law requires another venue.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from pursuing an eligible matter in small-claims court or contacting an appropriate governmental or regulatory agency.
32. General Provisions
If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Users may not transfer an account, enrollment, credit, or contractual rights without written authorization.
SYNAPSIS may assign these Terms as part of a lawful merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of business operations.
Section headings are for convenience and do not limit the meaning of these Terms.
